Our 8-day adventure begins with your arrival in Dublin, Ireland’s vibrant capital. Home to literary icons such as Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, and W.B. Yeats, Dublin offers a fascinating blend of history, culture, and storytelling. We'll enjoy both a literary tour and a guided walking tour of the city, followed by a cruise along the River Liffey. Highlights include visits to the Book of Kells, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and the National Leprechaun Museum. We’ll then make our way west to Galway, stopping at Clonmacnoise and Athlone along the way.

The remainder of the trip is spent exploring Ireland’s spectacular west coast, where the nutrient-rich waters of the Gulf Stream create ideal conditions for thriving marine ecosystems and aquaculture. Based in Galway, we’ll step back in time at Caherconnell Stone Fort and stand before the mysterious Poulnabrone Dolmen, a 5,000-year-old portal tomb overlooking the unique limestone landscape of the Burren. At the Aillwee Burren Experience, we’ll discover the region’s remarkable geology and ecology before enjoying lunch at Hazel Mountain Chocolate.

Over the following days, we’ll experience the rich culture, history, and natural beauty of western Ireland. We'll explore marine life at Galway Atlantaquaria, uncover Celtic myths and legends, and wander through Galway’s colorful Latin Quarter.

A full-day excursion takes us to the spectacular Aran Islands and beneath the towering Cliffs of Moher. Along the way, we’ll visit working oyster, salmon, and seaweed farms, watch highly trained sheepdogs in action in Connemara, and meet scientists conducting cutting-edge aquaculture research.

Throughout the journey, you’ll enjoy fresh local seafood, explore medieval castles, and hear the fascinating—and sometimes darker—stories that have shaped Galway’s past.
